I've not seen anything of Porto really since last season. I can't remember who it was against but in one of their games I watched last season Telles got 3 assists and literally put ball after ball on a plate.

I never thought his link up play was that good. The biggest value in Welbeck was always what he brought off the ball. He always out defences on the back foot and that created lots of space for Rooney to play through balls and arrive late into the box unmarked. For that reason alone it was a very good partnership.
