Yeah, Spurs have only won the league twice in their history, and that was back in the 50’s and 60’s. They have one league cup in nearly 30 years. Historically they’ve only been a successful cup team.

Tell a lie it’s two league cup, they won it in 99. But nobody remembers because we won the treble and well, it’s the league cup.

I’ve seen their fans complain that they should have been this Liverpool team and that their failure to spend a bit of cash a couple of reasons ago is the reason for it.

Tu Meke, yeah it’s ridiculous. But I’ve seen numerous other Spurs fans mention it over the last 18 months or so since Liverpool became a big player in Europe again.

Maybe because they kept finishing above them they seem to think they should be able to reach the same highs? Which completely ignores Liverpool’s historical significance on the world stage. And how good their owners and Klopp is.

Levy holds them back, but not to the extent it’s stopped them being like this Liverpool side. It’s mental anyone can actually sit there and think that, just because they once got 86 points.

Yeah that’s true. Chelsea have a real advantage over all the other London clubs when it comes to the academy. They’ve obviously got excellent scouts and coaches, and pay their academy players more than anyone else, so it allows them to hoover up all the best talent in the area.

Lucky for us Chelsea don’t scout up north. Rashford and Greenwood.

It's remarkable how well they're both doing in this team, especially the latter.

He just exudes class and confidence. Such a polished player.

That's why I said 'old' books.

With more creativity in the team and better coaching they could be very special players.
