We signed Van Persie instead.
We should've gone for him instead of Van Persie and Kagawa.
Would have solved a lot of our problems over the years. For all the issues we’ve had since Fergie retired not having a striker that can score 20 league goals since RVP did has facked us over.

Sweet.
Hell of a strike. Amazing how he manages to generate that amount of power at that height.
I don’t even care we dropped points today. Liverpool getting battered was absolutely wonderful.
I don't know if De Gea is going through a dip or if he's just peaked at United. 7 errors led to goals by him this season, that's so bad.
He's stopped doing coke lines before games

Not a hugely entertaining Clasico, but thought Madrid were worthy winners. Nullified Barca's midfield quite easily and everyone did a job on Messi when required.
It's not just me that really feels like Barca lack width/quality in wide areas, right?
madrid played well 2nd half
deserved the win

I'm currently debating attending again this season if fears over this grow.
We had our first confirmed case in Northern Ireland yesterday. Somebody coming back from Italy, travelling to Dublin airport which is where I normally fly from and they travelled up to Belfast where they're now being kept in hospital.
Maybe it was for the best we decided not to go last night.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I just took a 3-day break with my partner in a hotel on an amazing beach in Fuerteventura - WITHOUT the kids. We were almost praying for the hotel to go into lockdown for two weeks.
Imo, it depends whether you're in a high-risk group or have frequent contact with such people.
For kids it seems to be less of a threat than being hit by a bus. The vast majority of cases in healthy, working-age adults are very mild. It's mainly just the elderly and people with other health conditions that can be seriously complicated by an acute respiratory infection who need to worry.
I'm going to visit my mum in a couple of weeks' time. She's 97 and has just come off the back of a cold that's been begging her nearly all winter, so I'm pretty sure she'd be a goner with the virus. Mind you, don't think she'd mind that much. I took her on a balloon ride for her 90th. At one point I asked her if she wasn't worried that we seemed to be drifting towards a load of high-voltage power line and she just replied in the jolliest of tones, "Oh, no. If we fry, we fry!"
Anyone feeling a bit sorry for Mourinho?

It’s great when it’s at someone else’s club.
I'm just worried now about booking any more matches ioag for fear of future games being played behind closed doors.
I'm going to the derby on Sunday but I've nothing booked after that yet.
It's wait and see at the moment.
Hope it’s better than the Derby I went to last April, TRS. Pissssing down and I got a parking ticket after a humiliating end to the night.
Anyone feeling a bit sorry for Mourinho?
