Same. Partially rugby fans have put me off; however no sport has been worsened by professionalisation/athleticism than it. All players are genetic freaks and any technical players don’t make it in the game anymore.
I don’t think it was the most technical of games anyway. But you make a good point.

Wahl has the scousers flocking to his every article. Which is why they get ruined. Pretty much any football related article, even if it has no mention of them, gets ruined by them.

I say for me top 5 in their Position for WC
But for ‘truly WC’ it is a player that would get in any team in the world
Is that not dependent upon the talent pool at the time? That’s why I find it hard - no longer care - to define world class.
Yup it is. Which I think is fine as it’s tough to compare different eras
