3 off the record with the inevitable NLDrawby to come
These are the draws we've had so far:
Southampton (H)
Wolves (H)
Crystal Palace (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Bournemouth (A)
Chelsea (A)
Norwich (A)
Watford (A)
Everton (A)
Sheffield (H)
Burnley (A)
Man Utd (A)
Spurs (H)
Leicester (H)
Some of these draws are understandable, but the ones vs Southampton, Palace, Bournemouth, Norwich and Watford are really poor.
You were lucky to get draws in some of them, to be fair.
You really should have won today, though. You were very good first half and had more than enough opportunities to put the game to bed.
Yeah, I'm frustrated we didn't make the most of the chances we had. One goal was never going to be enough against this Leicester side.
I thought we would lose when Nketiah got sent off, and even more so when Vardy scored, but I guess we showed some resilience to hold on.
Hope we can beat Spurs on Sunday, but will be hard.
I think one goal could have been enough were it not for the red card. But yeah you did show a bit of resilience to get a point. Could have easily collapsed.
I thought Leicester were pretty poor, even with the extra man, so it’s still quite disappointing to have not seen it out.
I think you could take Spurs apart if you play like you did first half. Though the difficulty with that is getting Mourinho to allow Spurs to move up a bit higher than their 18 yard box.
Not too bothered about the result as progress is clearly being made. Not like we're playing for anything, sadly.
Would've seen it out with 11, Leicester werent really doing much despite a better 2nd half.
There needs to be a dictionary entry for the apathy/depression/lack of hope having Mourinho as your manager.
Moudom (adj.) - The feeling of despair you have towards the present/future of your club, due to sacrificing a lot for unenjoyable short-termism.
“We looked promising after signing two of the highest rated young midfielders in Europe. However now Moudom has set in, I don’t really care anymore”
I am sorry you are still at that stage, Edin.
Other entries would include:
mouconception (n) - a delusion whereby some fans think that upon arrival, a narcissistic manager set fast in his ways will find something special enough about your club to trigger a change in attitude
mounial (n) - a mode of self-deception experienced by an increasingly small number of fans who think that the manager is blameless, and anyone from the directors and playing staff down to the tea-lady is more responsible for the eyesore on offer than the manager himself
moulief (n) - the sense of liberation felt once your club has been freed of the toxic influence of a noxious manager
moufusion (n) - a mixture of hilarity and pity seeing a noxious former manager of your own club inflicting the same kind of pain on other fans, who formerly viewed you as a hysterical, over-reactive teenager
mourrifying (adj) - a sense of terror that a former, murderable manager will return with his new team and inflict a humiliating defeat on your club. Usually dispelled by...
moutivation - an unfathomable amount of determination instilled into the players that a despised former manager will not be given the slightest opportunity to gloat and lord it over them
moutred (n) - a PTSD syndrome characterised by an irrational desire of every possible human and animal disease befalling a former manager
mou-delenda-est (idiom) - just something said by an old but sage Roman who was several centuries ahead of his time
It would be fackin' hilarious if Espanyol somehow managed a result at the Camp Nou tonight
I can’t wait for some moulief

About 80% of the United board in 2016, with Robb as ringleader.
This whole thread is basically one big Mourinho therapy group.
I was even worse, Arab. Not only did I fall prey to mouconception when Mou arrived (dispelled within about two weeks), but also a second time when we signed Benitez.

I was puzzled what the common denominator was!
I suppose that means all ja606 threads will eventually merge into this one, plus Wahl's articles on the Mou board.
I had mouception biiiiiig time in December
I missed one of the most obvious ones.
moutiny (n) - the eventual, inevitable response of a playing squad repeatedly and maliciously targeted by their manager in the media in an attempt to cover up for his own shortcomings

Pogba and Mourinho in THAT training ground video
moullify (v) - the action of a club chairman responding to his apparent public dressing down on behalf of a struggling manager, generally by buying him a 7th ankle-crunching centre back or a 5th water-carrying midfield
moudification (n) - the act of converting your £150M striker into a second, makeshift left-back.
Fack me. I need to get out. Sea later lads.
These are facking superb, ioag.

This is a pro-European, UEFA-loving, vegan thread.
No gammon please.
