Fellaini - yes we overpaid but that was Moyes fault as he didn't want to sign Fellaini first.

ADM - using earlier logic on this thread ADM was a fair price.

Lukaku - see above.

Pogba - see above.

Martial - £36m for a young player of huge potential from a club that did not want to sell.

Depay - huge potential and we got a good fee back.

Factor in that clubs know we are loaded and paying a fair fee is almost impossible.
-----------------------

Real wanted to sell ADM, yet we still paid a huge fee for him, despite the fact he didn't even want to sign for us and only came because PSG dropped out. Poor business. Once PSG dropped out we were in string position as Real wanted to sell. Should have negotiated a better deal.

Lukaku wasn't worth more than £60m for me. Isn't the deal up to £90m with addons?

Pogba isn't yet world class for me, but he does have the potential. When you are paying a world record fee, you expect the finished article, not potential. Hopefully he kicks on this season, but everyone knows we overpaid.

Martial's fee could rise to £56m. He is a very talented player, but that kind of deal should be reserved for an established player.

Depay perhaps wasn't too bad.

ADM was an elite player and therefore worth £60m at that time. They didn't want to sell, he wanted out because of salary. Ronaldo was very vocal about him being allowed to leave.

Lukaku is worth more than Morata as a proven prem striker. Add to the fact it's Moneybags United and you arrive at £75m.

Pogba - the guy is world class and also a of huge value commercially.

Martial was initially £36m. Compare that with Mbappe's price tag just 2 years later or Lacazette and it's a bargain given his age and potential.

Adm has never been an elite player. He had one good season at real. He also did not want to come here. In no way shape or form was he worth 60 mil.

Lukaku, only scores. He's never a 75 mil player. Ever

And Pogba - lmao. Most ridiculous fee of all time.

You better tell ADM that he wanted out, because he has said on 2 separate occasions that he didn't want to leave Real Madrid. Yes, Ronaldo was vocal of Di Maria's exit - he was critical of the club for letting him go, not critical of Di Maria for wanting to leave.

Morata has proven that he can do it at CL level whereas Lukaku hasn't.

Pogba isn't world class as yet. Not based on last season. He isn't even close the having the consistency to be considered world class. Hopefully that changes that season.

Seeing as a strong Prem campaign is my preference then I'd take a Prem proven Lukaku over a Champs league proven Morata every day of the week.

Re Pogba, he is world class in terms of ability mate. Ask some people that know about football rather than people with an agenda.
