I watch a lot of European football, mainly for betting purposes. Hit a few 1k+ Accas last year. Hoping to do the same this year.
I get the time on weekends usually, then again I am only 23 and use 60% of my free time to watch/play football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wtf what kind of bets did you win big on?

My football watching career has depleted more and more as my going to game career has increased.
I rarely miss a Spurs game.
A few years back when Sevilla signed Kanoute I tried to follow them as much as I could and really got into them 11/12-12/13 when Navas was just an insane talent.
Then after that (due to lose family ties) I picked up following Roma for a bit and that lasted pretty much the whole reign that Gervinho was there (more of a coincidence than anything) but I never really enjoyed watching them that much tbh, I really just watched them for Pjanic and Totti even though he is pretty overrated.
Then I followed PSG for a season in Zlats penultimate season because I thought that it would be the final 'top' season by a player who is the best striker since Ronaldo de Lima and probably the second best since the PL formed (yes better than Henry, possibly controversial).
These days as I said it is mainly Spurs and whatever games are on TV if I can be *rsed watching them. Trying to go to a lot more games though, even went to Fulham vs Norwich at the weekend which was fun. Nice to form an actual opinion of Ryan Sessegnon rather than reports or highlights.
It's probably the only normal tv i watch... Any series or that gets streamed in bed
My mrs works weekends, so I'll have the sports on constantly
Its not hard to watch a lot... Between sky and bt france, spain, Italy, Germany, Holland all have live games... All have repeated games... Big games from Portugal are on... I've been sad enough to watch the Australian league at times
There's a difference in watching it or having it on and paying real attention to it tho... Depends on the game, any players we've been linked with etc... Sometimes it's just background noise
as much as possible!
the wife joked i'd watch 2 tramps kicking a ball in a park but i genuinely would!!!!!!
sat in a bar in cyprus watching the game with Arsenal & Chelsea fans!

They're usually £5/£10 bets too. Think I hit over 1k like 5times last year.

Fair play Toplad. So you just do the go for favourite technique with 10ish teams and hope that they all come through?

Nah do a lot of research on the games tbf. Can sometimes take up to a good hour to come up with a good ACCA on a weekend.
Check home form, away form, goals scored, previous H2H, injuries etc...
Pays off in the end. Time is money

I think that European football betting is the key to succeeding in Accas. The Prem and the lower divisions here even more so, are much more difficult to predict that some of the European top flight leagues.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yup, European teams usually have a trend where the top teams are just far better than the lower teams. It's much less sporadic with results.
How much you reckon you bet each weekend?
My old housemate used to be a trader and was really good with betting. Would always look at whatever was good odds and bet on that then hedge his bets and cash in as soon as he was making a profit. He never really disclosed how much he spent so I don't really know, but it seemed like he was making a couple of hunred a week.
Spend maximum for £20 a week. If I win big, I keep about £200 in the account to bet with and cash out the rest.
Always been good with money, being an accountant and all.
Long term profits are much better coming from doubles/trebles, though. But I get much more enjoyment betting on big accumulators
