I’m looking at this and the only part of Lacazettes body that is in front of the line is his arm which means he’s onside. First goal was offside though.

If you follow the line up then clearly head & chest is too.

Spoken by someone who clearly has no understanding of how perspective works

The line seems to be done on Davinsons position, but the defender at the top of the pics knee is even closer to the goal. Not offside.

No it’s not. Trippier and Sanchez are in line. If you think Lacazette top of foot where the line is and his head and chest are in line with that then obviously no point going on

Yeah I’m following the line up, his head is behind it and his chest is bang level, the offside line of Dier’s knee cuts through him at his shoulder. Onside.

Guys, leave them be. You are ruining their "If the ref was fair it could have been a draw" DVD launch. Don't be cruel.

Although I said you’d still won 1-0 if all correct decisions were given

Oh is it Trippier at the top of the picture, my mistake.

Point and fact still being that he’s onside.

So the line goes straight across at the tip of Lacazette foot and his body is in a straight position then?

I make it 3-0. Ozil didnt foul, Lacazette should have had a penalty - the camera from inside the goal shows Davinson pulled his shoulder and put a leg in front of him to block and trip him. and Mustafis goal offside. And considering the offside goals against us that get allowed, our onside goals that have been disallowed etc having one or two marginal decision go in our favour just evens it up very slightly, maybe 8 or 9 to 1 going against us instead of 10 to 1.

Thought the second looked on tbh. You can't really complain about a linesman missing half a head and a little bit of his shoulder being on.

Both offside, whether by a millimetre or a yard, thems is the rules. You either follow them, or you tear up the rule book.

One offside the other is perfectly onside

Oh look, United on 5th, despite being today's highest placed team playing, and winning

Think we've found our new defensive midfielder in Lukaku.

Christ how poor is Andre Gray?

Yep, he looked a bit cack. Probably score on Tuesday now having said that.

wouldn't want to watch United on the TV today as a neutral. 5th billing is flattery. Paying £40 to watch that dross today at OT was bad enough

Football is strange that if Burnley win against Arsenal they will be ahead of sides statisticslly streets ahead of them shots for and shots against. Shows you luck in football plays a big part. Burnley remind me of the Chelsea 11/12 side as in opposition need to take tons of shots to score against them but they need very few.
