The ref should be required to view VAR on the pitchside monitor and make a decision, because VAR technology was introduces to help him make the right decision. The VAR ref has no business telling the pitch ref what the decision should be.

I've nothing against Pool unlike some other posters on here but having just watched the game from yesterday I'm not surprised that several people have questioned the official's and Var (again). How could that not be a penalty. In real time, slo-mo, super slow, speeded up the first handball was nailed on. Staggering it wasn't given. The second claim has been given before (Sissoko against Pool) but I didn't think either was a pen. As for the Salah goal, Spurs benefitted from a toe nail decision on Saturday so I'm surprised this one wasn't ruled off. I'm not in the gang of the Liverpool conspiracy theorists but wow, you can understand why they exist when you see such bizarre officiating.

The fact that it hit Silva's arm first I would imagine played a huge part in that not being given. And to me Salah looked quite clearly onside.

Salah was well onside.

Just saw all three again on the beeb news and gotta say I disagree. Irrelevant I know but still. It didn't appear to touch Silvas arm and if it did the game should have been stopped and to add insult to injury Pool scored 20 odd seconds later. Were the boot on the other foot...

If you thought Salah was close you have not seen any other recent var decisions. That was an easy decision you can clearly see with the lines he was on.

First one was a pen but then he git advantage from s silva handball. Only you seem not to see it as handball but most other people have incuding most liverpool fans. The ball kicked to TAA arm for second pen to me is not a pen. I also thought the sissoko one in champs league wasnt he was unlucky.

But let's not also forget bernado goal. Fabinho got fouled by de bruyn but mo repmays or anything on that
