Well presumably the same amount of time and effort would have been spent on locating the wreck, and knowing the path the Titanic was taking to North America they would have eventually located said wreck and been able to conclude from the wreckage that the ship had obviously collided with an object. Based on the type of damage caused, no doubt they would have been able to deduce that the sinking was the result of striking an iceberg.
Ergo, I'll say iceberg.
They found the iceberg with paint on from where it had hit the ship.

How did they get there from the Middle East in that day and age?

Well... if they didn't have the radios, the people at the destination would've gotten suspicious when it was way too late.
They were like what, 3 days away from landing in NYC? The people there would've just assumed it was taking a little longer so they won't bother to send a ship out until a week after the Titanic sank. By then, there is a possibility that the evidence could have disappeared. Lots of evidence would have to disappear to not come to the iceberg conclusion though...
Visited the Titanic exhibition centre in Belfast a few weeks ago, and most experts now believe it was Godzilla who sank the ship.
The JA arsenal titanic board will it catch on

Its rumoured that the Holocaust was caused by the sicking of the Titanic. When it was found out an Iceberg was to blame, retaliation soon began. Soon after Icebergs were Steinbergs, then Goldbergs, until millions were dead. Tragic.
