I just disproved that "actions speaks louder word" cliche and you're asking me now if there's a point?

Come on son.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
disproved how?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Read my analogy again.

People's actions involve motives that you don't about. That cliche is terrible to use with all these underlying variables and I don't even remember what you used it for.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was nonsense. You gave two scenarios and the meaning to each one. Neither scenario was a completed action, yet you managed to confirm the premise that actions do speak louder than words by defining what each scenario meant.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why did I make the hamburger?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As you wrote, the subsequent action you take with the hamburger will tell us, you spelt it out giving option a and option b...lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you don't know right? I could've wrote option C,D,E,X, Y, and Z for all we know.

Well how does an action speak any louder than word then at that point?

Lukaku - totally unproven in the CL and against the best sides in the PL.

Morata - CL proven playing at the very highest level against the very best sides in Spain, Italy and across Europe.

These are the facts

Your confirmed action was that you made a hamburger. I now know you can make a hamburger.

Quite simple really.

Your analogy may have worked had the premise been 'past actions allow us to predict future actions', But it wasn't and he ce your anology was nonsense

Morata isn't proven at the highest level, though.

You could say you made the hamburger for your boyfriend but if you eat it then clearly that action is stronger than your words.

Pogba is doing a job for you and that is far more relevant to you winning the league.

He got confused between actions, words and scenarios.

You can't just go out there and say an action is xyz when you don't know what the underlying motives are. That's what this analogy is saying.

I'm only telling you so much about the action (50%). The rest (other 50%) is contingent on you getting the rest of the information hence why you can't always say that actions are louder than words.

I really don't remember how it got so off topic

posted on 20/8/17

Unless you can prove definitively that actions are always louder than words, there's wiggle room everywhere

posted on 20/8/17

The rest of the information is derived from subsequent actions.

Nobody said previous actions allow you to predict future actions...you are so confused fella.

Morata isn't proven at the highest level, though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's played and scored in CL Finals, he's played for Real Madrid and Juve in La Liga and Serie A scoring goals in both leagues. Last season he scored 20 goals for Real Madrid and he wasn't even a starter. He also has 9 goals in 20 appearances for Spain.

How is he not proven at the highest level ?

My subsequent info was actually a question to whether or not you know what I'm going to do with the hamburger.

If you don't know the full extent to the action, can you really say that actions are louder than words with 100% certainty?

posted on 20/8/17

Because he's not a proven striker. Never consistently led the line for his nor scored regularly. That's the issue with him.

Words can't confirm anything. Actions do. Now can you please move on from this
