I agree with the OP. Everton have a good chance of replacing Spurs in the top 6

I watched last night`s game, and Everton for me were very poor playing against 10 men for the best part of an hour. In my opinion, even for all the money they have spent, they will not be challenging for a top four position. Best they can hope for is top 6 or 7 again. They have some nice youngsters in their side, but certainly do not look like they will be troubling the top teams too much as the season unfolds.

Welcome back Sandy... Totally agree, Defo have some good young players, esp that kid that played up front ! Think much will depend if they can get Bolaise back at some point fit & firing. They remind me a bit of us, good technical players but lack real pace. I think teams like Spurs & Everton could really challenge the 2 mancs with a Sadio Mane, Martial, Leroy Sane type.... quick, direct, goal scoring threat. I think top 4 might be beyond them this year but I think they have better team than Liverpool & Arsenal. United, City, Spurs, Chelsea, Everton Arsenal, Liverpool this year's top 7 for me

This is wishful thinking, not an opinion lol.
They`ll probably finish 7th, I thought they were ordinary against $ity and bottled it against 10 men, rather than going for the second goal to finish the game off, they decided to try and hold onto what they had, and eventually paid the price.
I think it will be a two way Scouse battle for 6th place.
Window is still open and some great signings by anyone could change the picture completely. As of now I think they'll challenge for top 6, top 4 beyond them.
