The quote today from "spain" had very English sounding phrases in.
"To suggest Barca are thinking of backing out and calling it a day, is absolute nonsense.
"They're all in now; their cards are on the table and they'll never give up the fight."

All in? With 200M quid burning a hole in their sky rocket, 16M a year in installments hardly strikes me as "all in". 200M cash, on the table.....Now THAT'S all in!
Can't make my mind up who is more dumb here, Liverpool or Barca.
On one hand Liverpool would be getting a world record fee (but for a stupid Neymar vanity project which won't be the norm) for a player that is good but definitely not top drawer £100m worth.
Then there's Barca willing to pay up to 136m for a player Liverpool got for 8m. Coutinho is a good player and would definitely add something to them but would he represent a good deal at 136m? Can't see it.
Football is bonkers though.
You know Barca haven't bid £136m don't you?

I still think some are under rating Coutinho massively.
Make Barcelona pay in larger instalments and take the money. I applaud Liverpool for actually holding out this long especially as he could have been sold a week or two ago for much less but the time's come for the fools and their money to be parted.
Weird how the Mancs, particularly a certain United fan, are all over the Coutinho story quoting the Spanish press' every word but there's not been a peep about this;
"Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo, 32, could leave the La Liga club before the end of next week"
Reported in El Pais and the MEN.
