GB I could list them now and both would have awesome fire power but both would include awful defenders
Liverpool's attack last season was good enough to be league champions. Their defence and goalkeepers have let them down badly consistently for years.
You've not rectified (yet) your biggest weak area in the team where as most of the other top sides have addressed their weaknesses or at least have attempted to anyway.
If you don't sign VVD or a top CB, you won't be winning anything yet again bar maybe one of the cups.
You are forgetting that Moreno and Milner are like 2 new players. This was something that Klopp said taken straight from the Arsene Wenger book.

Not true. Our problems last year started when we lost mane coutinho sturridge etc.
So who are these great players you have signed for this season, the Ox?

take your rose tinted glasses off
=========================================================
Why would I need to do that?
I never expressed any opinion about our prospects, I just suggested that somebody as confident as you are about overhauling a top 4 Premiership team really ought to be in management.
"Mine is that you need better" ...yours, in fact, was that we need an entirely new defence, a new central midfield, and a centre forward. Pretty much a complete overhaul.
(and we don't really play with a centre forward, so presumably you'd be overhauling the tactics as well).
We've kept 6 clean sheets in our last 7 league games, so what would be your expectations of the new defence? Clean sheets in every league game?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Any further thoughts?
Any further thoughts?
=======================================================
You mean as a knee-jerk reaction to last night?
Er....no.
I still don't think we need an entirely new team, and even if we did, you've already told us that you're not available to choose it.
I'm clearing my schedule, if Klopp doesn't get it sorted in January, I reckon there'll be a vacancy.

I think LFC have entered a new period, klopp and FSG are a top draw partnership an we have seen already:
1..Stadium expansion
2..Big money given for signings
3..2 finals reached
4..CL reached
5..Real squad depth
And klopp has only been at Anfield for 2.5 seasons, his 3rd full season looks to be a cracker!

This is classic.
And Barcelona are finished. Why would Couts want to go there?

It’s time to let go, mate....the transfer window's closed, and Coutinho’s still at Liverpool.
But where’s Diego?
There’s been sightings of him hanging out with a group of other desperadoes in the mountains of Brazil.

I think they'll get by without Diego. I'm more concerned about his welfare...the life of a bandido is a tough one.
Only glanced at it, but have they missed Everton off that table?

It's very nice of you to think so highly of Costa, that Chelsea would be higher with him. But even without.....

It's possible Everton wouldn't be in the relegation zone if Lukaku was still there, but I never mentioned where Chelsea would be with or without Costa, I wouldn't know.

If we get a reported 57m for him, 48m up front that would be comical!
Otherwise, we have to get on our hands and knees and beg him to stay, like Couts.
No player should be bigger than the club.
