Sacking Season

Caley can't afford to sack anyone

They've got board members resigning left right and centre n'all.

I think the rest you mentioned are ok as they're all fairly new in the job.

Juke, I'd be surprised if any of them that I've mentioned above finish the season in charge of their clubs.

I think Jig will be ok.

McCann I'm not so sure of.. he needs to get Dundee scoring.

Pedro is 50/50.

And as I said.. Caley really can't afford to sack Robertson. They're skint.

Plus, there's nobody else they could afford to get in, or who'd want the job.

They made a rod for their own back by not investing in the squad 2 seasons ago when they had the money and were successful.

Robertson might walk away.

I wonder if McIntyre will walk into the Falkirk job?

I can't imagine Robertson would.. he has a genuine affection for the club and the area. It's only happen if the boardroom shenanigans got too much (which it might).

The club are an absolute shambles just now

Seven games in and if things don't change within the next three i reckon P45's will be issued. I'd like to see Jig turning it around

There's an argument for having a 'transfer window' for managers as well, where you can't sack them outwith that period.

Don't think that would ever be a goer though.

Very surprised by the McIntyre sacking. Houston himself said last week if things don't change soon he expected to be sacked

Just had a look at Ross County's results

7 games into the season and they have played Motherwell, Rangers, Aberdeen, Hibs and Celtic

Right now they are 5 of the top 6. What else do Ross County expect against teams in the top 6? Perhaps it is just the luck of the draw with regards to fixtures but had they played all of the bottom 6 in the first 5 games they may have been heralding the season as a tremendous start

Call Sign - it seems really harsh. I don't think they've been getting heavy defeats either. Perhaps a sign of discontent behind the scenes?

Must be as when you look at Ross County you'd expect their challenge to be staying up

They have beaten Dundee and drawn with Partick in their other games. I'd say that so far is achieving your targets

It’s all Ivan’s fault

When McCann goes next we will know Ivan has inside knowledge
