The more I watch it the more conflicted I am. Looks like someone tried to glass bottle him/Hales but failed, stokes retaliates and easily beats him and his mate who then don't want to fight anymore before stokes knocks one of them out.
He shouldn't have done it but at the same time, it seems like they only wanted to stop because they knew they couldn't win the fight. If he hadn't thrown that final punch I think he'd have been fine.

If you consider why and how KP was dropped because of his attitude then you'd say this is far far worse... pure hypocrisy if there isn't any big punishment rolled out on this one... I think ecb will take a stance against him

He fully deserves to be punished, not saying that he doesn't. I just mean he probably could have played the self defence card were it not for that final punch.
It's shocking from Stokes, I think if the footage was seen prior to the squad being announced then Stokes would have been left out. On that basis, the ECB may well decide to leave him out as there's just going to be a story on him probably every day until the matter is resolved.
dnt know what happens before the vid but that clip makes it look like stokes is continuing after the two guys despite them clearly not wanting any part of it, again whats happened before? but based on that video he probably will be in a lot of trouble

We don`t know the full story regarding provocation etc, but he should obviously not be getting involved in this kind of thing, it does not look good and it appears he has acted like a complete fool.
If Stokes is out of the Ashes, England can kiss goodbye to the series, he is a top class all rounder and probably our most influential player.
