Didn't see the game but I did see him trying to back heel it in his own box in the 91st minute which led to a Chelsea shot
im guessing you didn't see his amazing backheel attempt pretty much on his own goal line which nearly led to a Chelsea goal
What on earth was going through his head with that back heel.
Invoking the spirit of Djimi Traore.. with his attempt at a zidane turn on the goal line.
Anybody see Sakho's performances in Crystal Palace's win against Chelsea at the weekend.?
Was as consistently good as we'd come to expect, or remember.
Still baffled by Klopp's decision to move him on, particularly when considering what we were left with.
------------
So OP..
You're saying one game for Palace v Chelsea, shows Sakho as CONSISTENTLY good?
As for being baffled by Klopps decision, where were you when, being on loan at Palace, Sakho sat on the Palace bench at Anfield, and then celebrated a goal with Benteke?
He had no business being there and just turned up to rankle Klopp.
Had to go, disruptive character..
Are we going to hear this every time Sakho puts in any half decent performance, while conveniently forgetting about all the reasons he was let go in the first place?
Pretty much played the way I remember him at Anfield. Great tackle leading to the winning goal, but nearly back-heeled it into his own net. That's him in a nutshell.
'Consistent' is the one thing he's not...used to shiiit myself every time he got the ball (although to be fair, he often looked like he was going to lose it, and then didn’t).
He does have some great qualities, but he p1ssed the manager off, and our defence wasn't exactly renowned when he was playing for us, either.
If the manager is to have any authority, players who p1ss him off have to go, even if they're world-beaters (and that's not what Sakho is).
Palace have had an excellent start to the season so it's good that it's not a one off performance...

Sounds like the effect Smalling has on me.
That attempted backheel was one of the most suicidal pieces of defending I've seen this season and he was very lucky not to get punished.
I'm sure Xhaka did the same at Anfield as well
Move on. He celebrated a goal against us.

TBF to the OP, before his injury last season Sakho was immense for us over many games so yeah, consistent.
I liked him as a player and think he could have done well under Klopp. He is ungainly but surprisingly decent at passing the ball forwards.
However he annoyed the management at PSG and has done exactly the same thing at Liverpool. Application and attitude are important factors to consider and without knowing all the facts I'm happy to trust the manager judgement on this issue.
