Great foresight
He took Liverpool from 8th to 4th with the shallowest and arguably lowest quality squad of all of the top 6 teams. Players like Can and Firmino have flourished since his arrival and has made some very good signings with the likes of Mané and Salah and even the underrated one's like Wijnaldum who doesn't look anywhere out of his depth even after coming from Newcastle with a hefty price tag on his head.
Sure there are still question marks over his defence and when it will get sorted, but he had 7 years at Dortmund to work with and got them to the CL final and just look at them today.
Football truly has gone mad for those who want Klopp sacked.
Klopp certainly hasnt had the silly amount of money that others have had at their disposal so if LFC win something it will be truly well earned and I'll be happy for him.
Yeah but what does money mean nowadays? Who cares how much he has spent? Literally £130m today would have been half of that 10 years ago. Money in the PL is ridiculous for every club, look at how much Leicester spent on players in mid table. Nowadays there is that much money in the English game that clubs stick any old price tag on a player and clubs will pay it.
£70m for Virgil van Djik? Ronaldo who is arguably the world's greatest player (in some people's opinion) was worth that amount 10 years ago. Who cares about the price tag nowadays, all the CL clubs probably have the best part of £200m+ to spend each window anyway.

Just seen the OP and not going to bother reading 6 pages of posts but It’s times like these when I like to remind the Spurs lads that they have one of the worst spend per trophy records in football and that’s not just in England, it’s the entire continent.
That’s got to be painful. Oh well, at least you drew against Real Madrid

Why did you stop at 10 years? Very convenient indeed given that an extra 2 years would add another 3 trophies for you. It also just manages to squeeze your carling cup in.. just. Very clever.
In reality, Liverpool have spent a paltry £188,320,000 net in 10 seasons of Premier League football.
The net figure is essential in this case because unlike the Uniteds and Citizens of football, we have to sell prize assets in order to spend big. Clearly they don't.
The sad fact is that if we look at 10 years then yes, it's 1 trophy return. If you look at 12 years however, it's 4.
What about Spurs? You have one of the worst returns in Europe. There's no getting away from that fact.
It really is as painful as it sounds for the Hotspur Boys.
