If it is exactly 12 month to the day then it's amusingly suspicious.
He definitely had surgery as this photo proves

yeah we all know his hip was facked though. obviously quite a precise year long recovery period for this sort of problem?

I will believe Lamela is back when I see him on the pitch at Wumberley or wherever.
I myself do not believe he will last long if he does come back.
Furthermore, his doctors have probably advised him to give up footy.
But wot do you expect a lad who's done nothing else in his life but kick a football?
He mmay try to come back. But don't hold your breath!
