You defended Israel teargassing and shooting Palestinians to prevent them from marching, it literally led to an outbreak of fighting in why a lot of people died, and you constantly defended Israel's right to "defend themselves"

In a war that they started by attacking Palestinian holy sites.

I see people writing on here from time-to-time that we should all “try to be more respectful of others’ views” (or similar).

Fair comment.

Not demonizing other views and opinions does help.

There is a modern tendency to be either left or right, brexit or remain, religous or secular, American republican or democrat, for or against all abortion, unionist or nationalist..

And if you step outside the camp or group think, there is a pile on.If you go on social media where one side dominates, a pile on ensues, from all spectrums.

Leavers and loyalists can be wrong and bigots, but so can the "other side" and same with virtually all causes, political ideogies, religions and people as individuals.

Humanity is fickle, flawed and in flux throughout our lives and time, and IF we only see good in some views and the devil in other, we will destroy each other, with hate and dogma..

Believe me, i lived it and continue to do so.

And dipping my toe in here now and then proves this scenario.🤔

People can be good and bad, nice and not so, but there really is no set of rules, views, religous dogma, political party or tribe that is perfect, even if you are convinced others are evil, stupid, wrong, gullible or deluded.

We are all guessing and seeking confirmation of our current bias or outlook, hooking up to whatever way the wind blows, guided by peer pressure and social media etc, so to fall out and fight over opinions is folly.
