Right so while some might be wrong or missing the bigger picture it's not a conspiracy theory is it?

And having clicked the link by and large 37bn and app are in the same tweet but they're not saying the app cost that figure
-----------------
That in itself isn't a conspiracy theory, it's fake news
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You painting all complaints about the 37bn as fake news about the app feels like... Fake news
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, I'm specifically calling claims that 37bn was spent on the app as fake news
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or its miscommunication. Saying the money was spent on the app instinctively makes me think it's billions on a mobile phone tile, but as has been suggested earlier, the costs might involve the up scaling of lab testing of contact tracers etc and not just the tech behind a button.

The High Court has ruled the Mail On Sunday must publish a front-page statement about the Duchess of Sussex's victory in her copyright claim against the newspaper over its publication of a letter to her estranged father

how humiliating
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I wish this was precedent setting, that every fake story gets a front page apology, might clean up the lie factory.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I believe that might have been one of the Leveson inquiry recommendations. NPE might know more.

Sadly the government declined to fully implement the inquiries' recommendations, and then chose to drop the second phase of the investigation completely.

If so I withdraw my insinuation.

Yeah but what journalists or public figures are doing that?

Oh Dear, Boris misleading Parliament again.

B b b b but Nicola Sturgeon....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What does it matter?
He does what he wants, he lies when he wants, he ignores treaties when he wants, he supports ministerial miscreants and nobody bats an eyelid.
I thought Brits demanded better than this to be honest, more fool me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We’re a nation of grovelling serfs Hec.

Well the majority are.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's Labour's fault obviously, I mean, effective opposition should be able to convince the majority to believe what they can see with their own eyes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
More to blame than Keir not landing punches

The budget was pretty pants but has been received overwhelmingly favourably by the public
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Has it?

Nothing to do with them giving favourable coverage or Cameron being pals with Brooks and Coulson of course

And let's just assume that Boris and Gove coming from a media background doesn't muddy it further
----------------------------------------------------------------------

When it comes to Conservative Party objections to aspects of Leveson Inquiry, it may well be cynicism, but there are plenty of legitimate criticisms to make of his findings and I am personally glad there was not a stage two and that we didn’t create a press watchdog with a statutory underpinning, that would be terrible for freedom of expression.

Email????

I have problems working lift buttons, changing plugs, the tv and washing machine....so I got married.

As Q reminded me, I could not even unfilter folk here and get my daughter to work my phone.

I should have been born in viking times.

Things would have been simpler for Ragnor B@wbag.
