Am being told the Tories have lost all five seats in Woking they were contesting. If so they would lose their largest party status and then some…

all posh Tory areas are turning away from them

Games up for them now IMO. They're losing the South and the northern Brexit areas currently holding will soon turn as the recession bites.

The biggest risk is that they create mass apathy.

Police will finally investigate Sir Keir Starmer over his boozy lockdown curry, it was claimed today. Durham Police had said they were sure the Labour leader had not breached coronavirus rules when he and party aides had beers and a takeaway April in 2021, when millions of Britons were banned from mixing indoors in most circumstances. But Sir Keir was filmed drinking a bottle of beer with colleagues at the event at the offices of Durham MP Mary Foy in the run-up to last year's local elections, being roundly criticised as he repeatedly wriggled in interviews this week when asked about the incident. Tory MP Richard Holden, backed by several ministers, also wrote to Durham Constabulary insisting there was 'incontrovertible' evidence Labour had 'lied' about events of a year ago, including that that Labour deputy leader Angela Rayner was not there.

The DUP have refused (and ran on this as well as anti protocol) to share power with SF if they (Michelle O'Neill) becomes First Minister. Despite post of FM and deputy FM being of equal status.

So Stormont will again probably collapse. Budgets will not be able to be formulated/allocated. There's currently £300m sitting waiting to go towards cost of living for families. But as no FM or DFP it will be unspent...

Will there be a border poll though?

I remember reading some polls a year or two ago that seemed to indicate a preference for a united Ireland.

Can't see it, especially in the current environment. And also there's no way a conservative secretary of state would sanction one.
