Hancock tryna claim credit for the Brazil variant dude handing himself in LOL
Government officials have 30 days to publish contracts for more than £120,000
High Court judge today said Department of Health failed to publish 504 on time
The contracts were all Covid-related and included good such as PPE inventory
Good Law Project said delays had made proper scrutiny of the deals 'impossible'
However DHSC said delays were result of 'unprecedented' pressure in pandemic
Simulation by supercomputer found one face mask was 85 per cent effective
But - when a second was worn - this only rose to 89 per cent protection
Findings appear to contradict claims double-masking is 'common sense'
Doubling up on surgical masks offers no benefit because air resistance builds up and causes leakage around the edges of the mask, they claimed.
The study found there was some benefit in wearing a tight-fitting reusable mask on top of a surgical one, but it was marginal, offering up to 89 per cent protection.
———-
Single masking
Double masking
What next triple masking? Might as well just make us wear nappies or muzzles
Even more dumb that we are pretty much at the end of COVID well this wave or ever getting a gruesome wave like the previous two yet all we keep hearing about is more masks more lockdowns and more social distancing requirements and more strict rules for kids too and more and more testing
Fackin stupid man, should be talking about the end but keep talking about it like it’s the beginning and we are in the pandemic still
More than 40% of the over-80s have broken lockdown rules after getting vaccinated against coronavirus, new data suggests.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) asked more than 2,000 people over 80 in England about their attitudes toward COVID-19.
Some 43% said they had met up with someone outside their household, support or care bubble indoors after getting their first jab.
Too right, Well done shame it’s not 100%

You never seen what happens when the good guy stops hitting a bad guy coz he thinks he's had enough?
Mist times the bad guy gets up behind the good guy and gives him as good a kicking as he got in the first part of the fight.
Thought you watched WWE.
Hancock does a much better job than BJ at these daily press conferences, in fact so has pretty much every minister who's stood in his place. His waffly style really isn't suited to these important addresses.
