If Keir resigns doesn’t it make Boris look worse that he didn’t resign? So could be good if he does go
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No; the Tories and the papers will say it is nothing but a grand and grossly irresponsible political stunt by Labour, coldly forcing their own leader out in a cynical attempt to embarrass and undermine the nation's leadership during a most uncertain period of international crisis and extreme economic instability, etc. etc.

I imagine Boris will try to do something like claim it shows he is the stronger leader and that's why he didn't resign; whilst referencing something Churchill did or something from one of the classics.

"While labour are floundering and fighting amongst themselves we are getting on with the countries priorities and levelling up global Britain"

Think there will also be some flirting with being magnanimous but ultimately a triumphalist "we won" sort of this

Could it be possible Starmer has some inside info he's in the clear given his previous connections?

He will know he's in the clear regardless, it was permitted within the rules

Or that he just knows there isn't any evidence he broke the rules.

Starmer is such a t0sser sticking all that extra pressure on Durham police I hope he gets a fine and has to step down.

That said its win, win for Labour if him and Rayner fack off and get replaced by Streeting and Cooper.

Literally all he's done is basically say he'll accept whatever decision they make

The police shouldn't be affected either way anyway if they do their jobs properly.

I don't think that when anybody joins the police they do so with the expectation that they might at some point decide whether the Labour leader keeps his job.

He should have waited for the result then made his decision rather than ensuring that the police knew a guilty verdict would lead to him standing down.

When Boris said he'd resign if found guilty, I don't remember Pawl complaining that he was putting extra pressure on the Met.

What the fack is going on at Disneyland

Vice News: ‘Swastikas Fly at Disney as Neo-Nazis Appear to Join Anti-Grooming Protests’

‘Swastika flags fluttered outside a Disney World resort entrance in Orlando, Florida, this weekend, where a medley of far-right activists—including neo-Nazzis—had convened for a protest against “grooming.”

Disney and its affiliated parks have become culture-war battlegrounds ever since the company withdrew its support from Florida’s controversial “Don’t Say Gay” law earlier this year, amid a right-wing moral panic over schoolkids learning about LGBTQ issues…

The protesters who showed up first on Saturday were clad in the usual red-white-and-blue MAGA regalia, waving “Fack Biden” flags, and hawking Trump merch.

There was some initial confusion when a group of men arrived holding swastika flags and wearing gas masks, Nazzi Germany-style military uniforms, and skull masks (which are increasingly associated with hardcore accelerationist neo-Nazzis). At first, according to livestreams, it seemed as though the MAGA crowd thought the neo-Nazzis were there to protest them. “The Nazzis even came down here to fackin’ stop us,” one man bellowed through a megaphone. But as they made their way through the MAGA crowd, toward the Disney World resort sign, they could be heard explaining that they were “all on the same side.”’

Also don't remember him spending the last few days complaining about Durham police being pressured to reinvestigate.

He's just a silly silly parody at this point.

As I recall Labour were relentless in their insistence that the Met had to get stuck into partygate and the Tories have simply returned the favour with beergate.

As I always say regarding the Labour party don't dish it out if you can't take it

This portrayal of me as towing the Tory line is laughable, as I've stated on several occasions I believe Boris will be ousted by his own party after the Wakefield by election (if they lose).

Probably be best for both parties if they go into the next GE with a new leader.
