Nuge touch and finish and Winnall's goal celebrations.

Wasn’t at the game but the highlights seem very biased towards Norwich

Excellent thread chaps, superb team effort and very funny.

We are 7th highest in goals for and 4th lowest goals against. And that is with Mistakeogh in almost permanent residence. Now, just think what would have happened if GR took 666's guidance on the matter.

3R, I had Ledley as my MoM, but reflecting on it last night, I'd change it to Keogh. Excellent all round performance and could have bagged one himself.
No one can criticise his captaincy at the moment.

My choice - based on second hand reports - was Carson and then Keogh. But it seemed like one of those games when everyone played well (possible exception - Vydra). And one of the brightest developments is Forsyth returning to his original form and abilities.

Got the impression that Forsyth was a bit inconsistent again but I will stand corrected as I was not there 👍

1st half I thought Vydra, Nugent, Lawerance and Forsyth were poor. Nugent scoring possibly saved him from being taken off, Vydra just doesn’t seem to be able to play away.
2nd half was much better with Martin on. Lawerance has to improve his final ball and decision making. He created loads of openings but didn’t deliver a final ball or chose the wrong option.

I know what Ince would have done with a vast majority of those openings, Griff.
Lawrence seems to be caught between 2 stools at the moment, if that's the phrase. I'm sure a goal will sharpen him up. It's coming

Fozzy was ok. Didn't particularly stand out to me.

Lawrence has enough awareness to make you believe that his decision-making will improve. Whenever he gets fouled he looks as though there will be a need to pull the tent round and bring out the humane killer so he needs to toughen up a bit. His technical ability at crossing the ball is excellent. If Martin and Nugent were a regular pairing up front I think he would get the ball onto one of their heads quite often.

Nugents goal was a peach. I suspect anyone else would have blasted it at the keeper or over the bar?

We also need to keep Carson fit.

Theres not many of us left that can score goals like Nugent's

On what the young people refer to as Social Media, 666 often publishes diatribes against our heroic and inspirational captain. After a recent MOTM performance I questioned the validity of 666's opinion which does not appear to be entirely evidence-based. He responded with the hackneyed and tired response:"Monkeys and typewriters". I pointed out that if one particular monkey churns out a magnificent play every week, perhaps it might be time to consider whether that monkey might actually BE Shakespeare after all. 666 believes that Keogh's good performances occur once in a blue moon but he is a very conisistent performer indeed, more than any other of our players. Ledley may push him for this if he stays in the long-term.

The defensive unit is very strong at the moment. Davies is quietly very effective and Carson steals the headlines with great saves but Keogh has been the star. It must sicken 666 to what passes for his soul.

Lawrence is just a 5hit Jonny Russell.

MistaKeogh is garbage: Curtis makes him look passable but he remains a waste of a shirt and a disgrace to the armband.

Ledley will do, Huddz8 must go back to Wigan or wherever he's from, and #VydraOUT.

I rest my case. I sort of agree about Vydra though.

FFS, we narrowly beat Norwich and you've all jizzed yourselves into a milky frenzy: we shouldn't even have to be playing the likes of Norwich and the fact that we have to is down to Keogh, and to the people who continue to make excuses for him whilst lauding his occasional accurate pass like it was the equal of Messi's best ever goal.

Norwich? Who gives a fck? They're not fit to grace the same turf as Derby County but as long as you muppets are so browbeaten by the badge he wears that you'll accept that starey-eyed fckwit as one of us then we have to accept the bar being set so low as to think three points from Carrow Road is something to celebrate.

My body clock was insisting on a pre-lunch G&T at 11 o'clock but now established on zulu time.

I am sure I read recently GR saying that Vydra could be/was the best in the league and so on. Or was this a form of management reassurance?

posted on 29/10/17

Vydra's fine. Just wasn't the day for him yesterday

Nuge and Martin though, different story.
Norwich's defence was terrified 2nd half.
Brought BJ & Lawrence into the game as well.
Then Sammy's energy & aggression with 15 to go.
