I had made a fair bit on it when it was bouncing between 0.97 and 1.05 but it dropped to round about 0.5 now. I suppose I got a little too complacent with it over a few weeks of making on it.

I'm pretty happy on Etoro, I've had no problems, find it easy to use and I like the virtual portfolio, where I can play with $100,000 imaginary dollars to learn. It's also handy because I can try out imaginary trades on stocks I'm not familiar with to see how they perform.

Read this though, this is typical. They really don't like folk winning.

Plus500 hide behind a "market abuse excuse" called scalping (which they don't define or quantify) to avoid paying folk that win. Etoros excuse with that guy us a disgrace as they already have a price spread in which they make profit. The sheer volume of BTC traders on a given day they could easily disable the instrument. They would have known about pricing issues yet kept taking orders.

I can only speak through experience and I've had no problems with them personally.

I've got a work colleague that used them as well and also had no problem. I've not withdrawn any funds yet bit my work mate did and said he had the full amount he requested in three working days.

Maybe that person was an isolated case - hope so anyway!

If it's just a bit of dabbling you should be absolutely fine. Because your trades aren't balanced or touch the market your profits come straight from etoros pocket. So you'll never be allowed to make a fortune

I only just broke even on btc like a month ago

Thought id bought pretty low then it dropped to like 3k

Looking at XRP, it's still low especially when you compare it to it's peak of 3.5 at the start of 2018.
