He is no different to Andy Carroll really other than the height, elbows, ponytail, balance, technique and temperament. Taking all that into account they are much the same

Always fit, works his ass off, great movement and no little skill. Could and should score a few more but I feel he gets over played a bit. His numbers are decent though.

Mixed.

He's not got the outright pace but worked hard.

His fitness imo is mixed though. He's not always at 100% and when he's not it shows. Whether this is enjoying himself a bit too much in off seaosn or whatever i don't know.

In fariness.... he's a decent player but he's no suarez and really he is a no 9 in the team. Its a bloody good job we got salah isn't it.

When not scoring himself his contribution is defined by how others around him do. Like he takes the shot that leads to Couts goal on Saturday.

When we win and he doesn't score he has usually played a part in goal/s scored in that game.

I love watching him play, he's excellent on the ball and love his work rate.

Don't forget his tackle while Saints have the ball looking to clear leads to Salah's first goal. Firmino is perfect for what Klopp needs upfront. I honestly believe his workrate and unselfish play (passing, crossing, gegenpress, tracking back, making channel runs, pulling defenders away) let's Salah and Mane shine up top. We don't have a problem that two players make the same run. (Only that one time when Salah and Firmino had that tap in goal) Firmino so many times just gives the ball back to his mate Couthino after he's made an intelligent run which gives Cout's a bit of space.

Of course it would be great if he converted more. However he works harder then anyone in the team and not everyone can be the superstar of the team. His truly unselfish play makes us click up top.

This is it mate, he's a players player! Put in quite a few MOTM displays this season, with or without scoring/assisting. 6 goals and 3 assists in the PL and CL aint bad - that trainslates to.something like 18 goals and 9 assists over a season. He's usually a big hame player too....

How many other strikers in the league can say they dictate the play for their forward line?

Apart from not scoring at a goal a game, he is outstanding at pretty much everything else.

He would be an automatic choice in my first eleven every time. He puts in a fantastic shift each and every time. Yes, I too would like to see him score more goals, be the effect he has on the team going forward and attacking is phenomenal.
