Still better than your midfield. Only your keeper is better than ours.
Henderson had his best game for a long time only on Saturday against Southampton but I have said it many times he looks decent when we are dominating and comfortable but as soon as we are put under pressure he presses the panic button and starts the bottle job.
We need a leader who can organise the team. Someone who can stay strong under pressure and lift up the team. He can't do that. He can't tackle. He's so weak in 50-50 challenges. He's afraid of jumping with opponents to head a ball. Never seen him outjumping someone inside the busy penalty area to win a header. Never seen him slidding cleanly to tackle and get the ball. Never seen him winning a shoulder to shoulder challenge. We need a calm midfolder to keep it simple, keep possession and kill off the game like Hammann or Alonso. Lucas was not perfect but he was doing a decent job under these circumstances.

Can doesn't want to play for Liverpool though.That could be an issue.
I don't know but I'm fairly certain he will stick with Henderson for the rest of the season so we may as well get behind him.
Though Sevilla were very good. Clearly very hard to beat at home!

You keep writing this. Why? Other than the fact you want some attention as a 50 something belllend having a midlife crisis of course.
I support Henderson but, he simply isn't captain material. He gets stuck in to refs, that good. But at the wrong time, that's bad. And in the wrong, aggressive manner, that's worse.
He runs his heart out, but he hasn't got it to be captain. The only player in my mind who could fit the bill is Milner, and he's not playing enough times. In reality, none of the players stands out as being captain material. I thought Joel would make it but hes more quiet than a mouse!
No leadership on the park. That's not good.

Jtr..I agree, hes a decent player who gets unfair stick, sometimes he deserves it but nowhere near what he actually gets. Hes a good solid player, never get in a lot Liverpools teams of the past but for me hes good enough as a squad player, however when keita joins and if we get another then I dont when he plays.
