In regard to Liverpool, I think we are now hitting a bit of consistency, have had a good November, which in recent history has been a bad month for us, so I see no reason to believe we wont go on to consolidate our top 4 position from last season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
While I agree Jlou that there is consistency in the team, there is still fragility. The same word used time and again by John Aldridge on the commentary on Wed was 'panic'. Better teams, or even poorer teams with better finish would have punished us.
I'm trying not to sound negative but the fragility, the weakness the confusion in trying to defend against Stoke was there for all to see. No wonder Jurgen was going apoplectic on the sidelines.
Were are still and remain, in 'one game at a time' mode. Let's see where it takes us.

Top 4 odds:
City...1/100
Utd...2/11
CFC...1/3
Liverpool..6/5
Spurs....11/8
Arsenal...6/4
Source is "odds checker"...seems the bookies fancy the mighty liverpool for a top 4 finish; wise, very wise
Jtr.,..take moreno, lovren and mignolet out stick in this and I think we would be much much better:
......................Ward...........
Clyne......Matip...Gomez...Robertson
I would stick with that if it was me.

If - a bloody huge if - such a defence would be put together then, I would be 100% for it. The weak link, in my view would be Matip; he constantly slips under the radar when any criticism is levelled against the Defence. He is out for tomorrow's game against Brighton.
