If De Gea was in goal he would have easily saved the last 2 goals in the 2011 final. I suppose a prime Van Der Sar would have too.

Embarrassment was harsh, they were one of the greatest sides ever.

Chelsea got battered more in the 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

No Hafi, United came third that day, the referee should have stopped the contest with one team unable to defend itself. I have never seen a more one sided match but they were an amazing team.

On about the next season pep got beaten by Chelsea park the bus side. They could easily have conceded 5 or 6 but somehow won 1-0

BTW football is a funny old game, we are playing worse this season than last season but we scored a lot more and conceded a lot less.

212 shots 78 on target 35 goals after 15 games and 183 shots 64 on target 9 goals against. I know our last match had a lot to do with that but still.

Last season 244 shots 82 on target 20 goals after 15 games and 147 shots 50 on target 16 goals against.

Teams need over double the shots on target to score against us this season compared to last and we are scoring nearly twice as clinical as last season.

So pretty much 2x more clinical and 2x more shots absorbed per goal=+26 goal difference vs last season +4 goal difference despite much better stats attacking and defending.

Lets hope you have a lot more in the 'goals conceded' column for United tonight, for the good of football.

Don't know how Arsenal under Wenger last few seasons especially give away tons of chances and get away with it and nick one late on. They did the same at OT last season and 2 seasons before that.
