Lots of teams in the bottom half with big issues that could get them relegated.
I would only be confident in ruling out Southampton from the bottom 10.

Bottom at Christmas?

Pulis teams seem to have this snap where it goes to crap overnight almost. At both Stoke and WBA out of nowhere from comfortable position and good performances they went on unprecedented bad runs to cost him his job. WBA was 2 in 22 and i think his last few months at Stoke weren't much better.

While I think they have enough to be safe they ain’t very good either and could get dragged into it.

Make no mistake about it, we are garbage!

We will struggle to stay up this season. Tony Pulis has zapped the football out of the brains of our squad.

I thought Krychowiak was going to be a good signing. Is he that poor that he deserves benching?

Was woeful during his run of games. Mind you, Pulis plan of action never involved the midfield so I think Messi would have looked pants playing for us.

At least AP has got the squad getting forward in numbers when we attack. Things is, 3 years of Pulis has taken its toll and it’s going to take AP longer than 10 days to get in to them.

Pulis spent just under 100 million quid in just under 3 years. He left Albion with the oldest squad in the league, no decent strikers and hardly any midfielders that can create. Best of luck Pardew.......you will need it!

They are awful.

Under Pulis generally you could expect them to be solid and hard to beat.

Now towards the end of his reign they stopped being that, and have now appointed a manager who has never really made teams solid, just when they need to be to grind out some results.

They need January badly to get some players in because I’m not sure they have the players to play how Pardew will want them to play.

Don’t get me wrong, Pardew isn’t Guardiola, but he isn’t as defensively minded as Pulis, Moyes, Allardyce. He does try and play on the front foot when his teams have the ball. West Brom’s attacking options are extremely limited though.

Newcastle United also on a dreadful run. 1 win in 11 and mainly losses unless they do a miracle in next few minutes.

West Brom are a real Pulis team, big, physical, awkward to play against but low on flair and creativity. At the moment you couldn't really pick a nailed on relegation team it's that close at the bottom. But they could be the ones, Pardew aint exactly an inspiring figure.

Bit of a surprise with Moyse today btw, against all expectations he seems to be making a difference.

Watched the West Ham game today and was impressed with them. Can't see how Mildew, sorry Pardew, can improve them.

I don’t think sacking Pulis was the answer either.

The warning signs were there last season though when we won 1 of our last 11 or something. Now it's no wins in 14. What we needed was a pre-season to allow a new manager to get his ideas across. Our board were too busy burying their head in the sand and we're left with a squad bereft of confidence and Pulisball drilled into them for 3 years, not helped by injuries to 4 or 5 key players.

There is no short-term answer and for the first time since we came up, I think relegation is likely. Think we could do with a clear out...starting in the boardroom.

The good news is that Tony Pulis is available and ready to rock and roll

One has to factor in the elephant in the room, here.

"Supporting West Brom, unfortunately, usually entails having to live there."

Southampton won 2 in 9, played us, won.

Swansea won 1 in 11, played us, won.

Brighton hadn't scored or won in the Premier League, played us, won.

Huddersfield scored 3 goals in 8 games & won 1 in 8 games, played us, won.

Newcastle have 1 point in 18, that point came vs us.

I'm in no way a Pardew fan but he needs more than a couple of games to get the players playing his way.

It's also worth remembering that we're missing our 3 most creative players in Morrison, Chadli and Phillips plus Burke is only just back from injury too.

It seems that virtually every team in the bottom half is struggling and there's a lot of football to be played.

I'm certainly not panicking...........yet!

WBA need to hold their nerve. A very poor run of Pulis-inspired form, but two games into Pardew (who I cant stand) is too soon to judge. It doesnt look good. Could well be bottom or near bottom by Xmas. But many other teams are pants too.

At least now the team are better to watch. I'd rather see that in League 1 than any more Hoof under TP.

Just need to keep chins up.

Really? The pub I was in Saturday had the Albion game on.............it was not 'better' to watch!

They also had the Spurs game as well as Sky sports news with sound on for all 3....gave me a headache.

On the balance of the two games that we've played under Pardew, the football is far better to watch.

I can only assume you didn't see us under Pulis!
