Pure speculation Ginger, but I can see Clarke being in the frame given the lack of options elsewhere. He's a good coach, been at big clubs, would understand the pressures of it.

Plus he'd be cheap to prise away from Killie.

Something put McInness off so until that’s sorted I see them struggling to get a decent name in.

He’d be decent btw 👍

Rangers are in good form and Murty seems to be able to tackle the big games rather than the more run-of-the-mill games.

If they had a full squad they'd have maybe got a draw or even snuck a win, but the Rangers squad is so light that a couple of injries/suspensions kills them.

Personally I don't see how either of those two players would make a difference .
Those that replace them will offer much the same

And he added: “I am going to go in and see him just now, make sure we have given him the requisite attention.

“Wrap him up in cotton wool, give him a pat on the head and send him home to bed with some milk!”

last i have heard on mcrorie yesterday
he played on for a while after his injury so i think he will be fine for wednesday

other than him we have barjonas

he was very good on saturday again in midfield the tackle when he got injured was brilliant and a few good passes aswell

i think he will be a good player although i remember thinking that about wilson when he was young and look how bad he is now

Has prolific though

Tough game. Can't see a result if McCrorie is out. Mature and disciplines beyond his years. No jack, they've got a good midfield... Worrying

Current bookies favourites are Karanka (13/2) followed by Postecoglou (16/1)

Murty it is then, and so it should be.

I hope Murty does get the gig. I like his style, persona, the way he comes across in interviews and the key thing for me is, that the players want to play for him - that, you cannot buy.

Did they want to play for him against Dundee or Hamilton. Let's just face facts...he's a dud.

It's far from pefect and he's not a long term answer. However, for the time being the players and fans are buying into him and he's changed the shape which appears to have worked. The board would be mental to ignore this goodwill he's earned. Or more mental than they have been.

If he gets a win at Easter road then I'd say he's earned the right to take the team for a longer run.

No chance without Jack and Ross McCrorie.
Hibs are very strong in the middle, we don't have the depth.

Given the alternatives I'm happy with him till January. I wouldn't back him full time as there will be no pressure on the board to back a novice.
