Would have been very, very soft. Seen them given for less though. Pretty sure Oliver would give a free kick for it had been anywhere else on the field. Strange to book Herrera though when he was lenient with the City divers.

I think the fact that we are discussing whether it was a foul though sums up what has seemed to become acceptable in terms of 'engineering' fouls in the game today.

They won't. You only get a retrospective ban for "deceiving the official", i.e if the ref gives a pen for a dive. Jesus' wasn't given and Herrera already picked up a booking.

Ridiculous rule but there you go.
