That’s probably his fault if it did. And maybe he should buy players that aren’t so traumatised after losing they crumble as soon as an opposition player runs at them. And maybe we should try something else then just slow sideways passing, which creates nothing but a simple defensive training exercise for the other team.

Not even sure Utd parked the bus. Not seen a coach who can teach a team to attack when they cannot get the ball. As for Arsenal and Wenger, teams lose from time to time and have to get over it. Was not like they were useless last week despite the scoreline.
Although United performance today was also pretty terrible, also Mourinho comments were silly, not really a surprise at all though.
Sad thing is Wenger is probably telling the truth

Yup, Wenger is actually admitting that our defence is mentally weak from the Man Utd game - well who bought these players and has a coaching method that instills such a weak mind in our players - Wenger needs to look in the mirror and then immediately resign...

It was a setup question by the reporter. The question was something like did your defenders go into the game worried about conceding early after the Man Utd game? He said (paraphrasing) we talked about it and obviously they were tentative because they did concede again.
If he had said that he ignored what happened against Utd, Wenger would have been accused of ignoring glaring issues.
I am not a Wenger fan but fans thousands of miles away only get a bit of information that is twisted beyond the original context.

Last time I checked 4 of the top 6 clubs were worse off.
He's probably right but the point is that he needs to spot the problem before the game and fix it.
Last time I checked none of those teams spent 300m just to hoof the ball to Heskey mk.2

Funny thing is we played several times better than City did yesterday but I was still upset and not happy with the performance which was not good enough against a team that generally cant beat Top 6 opposition home or away.
The 2 defensive mistakes in the first half were enough for me to think anything more than a point would be tragic to united despite our dominance.But having said that lets not pretend the united defence is any good. Gifted City 2 goals yesterday and gifted us another 2 penalties which were not awarded.
Your side is actually pitiful against decent opposition that I am starting to change my mind about your chances in the CL. Even Spurs would spank you if you met in the quarters.
