I like Grabban
But it looks like there trying to sell him before he gets too old.
Not sure I’d be spending £8m on a 29 year old striker
We will defo be signing Grabban but for the following
1, hes over 26
2, hes british
3, youve heard of him
4, hes out of form
5, costs more than £3m
He's hot and cold and I think we can do better and no way would I spend 8 million on him. Wouldn't spend half that. He was dreadful at Norwich although has picked up this season.
Can do better
Certainly not worth 8m, but he's dangerous and a natural finisher with pace.
i really dont see us going in for a striker guys...
Lasogga
Roofe
Ekuban
Grot
think we got them till end of season, no?
Lassoga is suspect, Ekuban has a broken foot, Grot is not ready and Roofe can't do it all on his own. We need a striker more than most things. Although we have scored more goals this season
im not sure the hierarchy will deem lasogga as 'suspect'
CE hasnt got a confirmed broken foot, hay saying they pretty optimistic.
roofe doing ok
grot i agree not great.
but unless they have a way of cancelling lasogga loan and lumping the wages back on hamburger not sure they gonna spend more on stirkers
Although we need a new striker in the summer its not a priority this season.
Scoring goals isn't an issue.

Aint gonna happen Hamburg are desperate to get shot of him, they couldn't believe their luck when we came in for him.
Norwich paid £3mill for him, 2 years later went back to the Cherries for undisclosed fee. Can't see him costing more than £1mill myself. Where did the £8mill come from?

How much luck was it when Leeds may only be covering 1/3 of his wages?

That’s how much Bournemouth paid for him, will want there money back for him
Hate this sort of player. Changes club every other year, not a particularly impressive goal record, got 4 goals over the last 3 years. But for some reason is still valued at this price.
Since Bournemouth got a steal in Lewis Cook for £6m, perhaps they will take that into account and let Grabban come to Leeds for significantly less than £8m?
Are we trying to corner the market on $hit strikers or something?
Lasogga back training today and looked a bit leaner,

A striker who has a goals scored to games played ratio of more than 1 every 2 games - what do you think?

So far ok but time will tell. I just get fed up of loans, the 1 think or last combatant got right loan with poss permanent deal.
People are being way too harsh on Lasogga, he has scored 5 in 9 games and looked like an absolute animal on his debut yet people act like he is teeeible
Matty I think it is his attitude / the way he is, he is like an old school forward. The modern day striker needs to do more but if he continues to bang them in then great
Lasogga is a good player and a goal scorer.
The comments on the official photo of him been back in training are pathetic and more proof a large percentage of our fan base are idiots.
