The conclussion is he is an average manager who will manage midtable clubs. He will do well and win titles in average leagues. He was rubbish at Inter, Liverpool and England.

I would say good but certainly decent. He can do a decent job for midtable sides. He did a really good job at Fulham and that Europa League run was excellent. He also did well in some small leagues in Europe.
There's an English manager managing a team in Sweden currently doing well who brought his team from a few divisions below the top and play Arsenal in the next round of the Europa League having come through their group stage. I doubt many top English clubs will be looking at him however.

He wasn't rubbish at Inter. He was decent. He joined them when they were in the relegation zone and took them to the UEFA Cup. The following season they finished third and got to the UEFA Cup final. He had problems with some players like Roberto Carlos who he kept playing on the wing and the fans didn't like him much.

The truth is de boer did a terrible job with some decent players and hodgson has done a decent job with the same players

Seriously.

Front 3.. nothing wrong with them.

Oh and he also had some classic howlers in interviews like saying there was only one superstar in the side in Ince and the rest were just powerful and hard workers.

He had Roberto Carlos, Djorkaeff and Zanetti from memory. He probably had a few others I'm sure.

I'm sure he was for some reason asked about the possibility of Torres ever signing for United and his was response was "we will cross that bridge when we come to it".

Then there was the famous 1-0 win away to Bolton.

The derby defeat being the best performance of the season, and a win would have been "utopia".

That Torres one. I remember him saying something like when a big club like united come looking for your player you have to listen

Seriously

What ever Roy has achieved, how much weight does it carry in terms of top level European football?

The truth is Roy has never won one trophy in Europe of note. He’s won titles in Sweden? Big deal.

When it came to leagues credible in Europe he has a big fat smiley.

You missed the title in Denmark. No he didn't win the Europa with Fulham, but he got to the final.
I did not say he was great, but at least decent, which he is. You should admit it, because it's true.

I was a bit bored earlier and found a list of every mind-boggling quote from Hodgon's reign. Some of them I had completely forgotten about or never heard, and couldn't believe what I was reading.
