I would go for:

M. Vunipola——George——Furlong
—-Itoje—AW Jones—-
O’Mahony—B. Vunipola—Tipuric

Murray—Sexton

Farrell—-J Davies

North—Hogg—Daly

Plenty of Gloucester players as you can see ...

Why do you guys insist on putting George North in there. He's been utter mince this season.

8. Faletau

Good to see Greig is in there at 9! Don’t you have some new fellow though, us Glaws fans are still in great admiration for him, though young Vellacott is a bit of a prospect.

We seem to be a bit of a last shot for some players with Hibbard having enjoyed a good spell with us and Banahan on the way.

What on earth is going on at Northampton, and Leicester too?

BTW would H Jones have another meaning as well as Huw Jones, it certainly would to me and I believe your even more of an old git!

Greig is in for his captaincy and his kicking. Yes, we have good options at 9, as we now do in several position. There's definitely Price - he is good. There's also Pyrgos, and young Fowles at Edinburgh is promising.

There is still the age old problem of short resources in key areas - prop for one. Centre and back row are plentiful enough, but if Hogg is injured we're straight down to Jackson. Wing is also a wee bit short.

In Mr.Ed speak, we don't have the finishers like England do. That's why England will win the 6N.

SARS

On your other points, I do recall H Jones in a military context. Is that the one?

As for the Saints, God knows, but it's another write off season. How the hell can that squad be where we are in the league table. We were top in September, remember.

A big clear out is required. North is on his way, so that's good. Foden can effoff too. Young Mallinder needs to stop sulking about daddy being sacked. He also need to be told that he's a 12. He's not the 15 he thinks he is, and he's definitely not a 10. Hasn't got the vision to play either of those and he isn't living up to his early promise. Francis has delivered nothing since he arrived, let's hope Biggar does more next season or we'll end up back at steady Eddie, Myler

Guys like Wood and Burrell need to more of a shoulder to the wheel, but at least Courtney is honest enough to admit that he's been off the pace of late.

Still, it's a very dark cloud that has no silver lining. It's always nice to see Tiggers struggling a wee bit. Can't see that lasting though.

Would you play Laidlaw over Price for Scotland? I'm not sure how well he fits in to the gameplan GT has, and he's only just coming back from injury now.

Finn's not been the worst place kicker we've had (I tear my hair out at times with his kicking from hand, and the amount of penalties where he doesn't hit touch) and Ali has played very well for Scotland so far.

It's interesting that SHC has dropped off the radar too, he was the next big thing 18 months ago.

Not sure bmcl. Price certainly fits the runaround game better, but Greig is just Greig. Great kicker and a good captain. SHC looks like he'll be dropping below Fowles in the pecking order, and of course there's young George Horne coming through too. We are well blessed at 9, as we are in the centre and the back row. Elsewhere we are a bit thin on resources.
