you'd imagine.. but then again it wouldnt be hard to improve on Lovren. Klavans fine as and old squad player for a few mill not meant to be first team. Problem is he will have Mignolet behind him unless replaced .
VVD was a quality player when fit and in form for SH one of the best CBs in the league if not the best for periods. 75m is a lot of money but then again with City sniffing and a 6 year contract, 60m wanted in the summer and we pee'd them off its what you'd expect to be paying in this market, dno why everyones acting so shocked at it like it was out of the blue.
A slight upgrade on what Liverpool have but not worth £75m. Southampton really took them to the cleaners.
If they get a decent keeper along with the arrival of Naby Kaita they are starting to resemble - on paper anyway - a serious side.

Yeah, if he isn't hopefully he feels like Owen when he left to win the CL only for us to win it that year.
He's been in very poor form in the last year for club and country tbh, but on his day a very good player.
Vvd looks a good buy tbh... Lovren looked a good centre half at Saints too tho
