Sarri hasn't won anything.
Never in contention, Roman goes for coaches that have won trophies.

Well he's not going back to Juve anytime soon they already have a very good manager. As for being a patriot not sure what that has to do with anything. Wenger is very much a French patriot, hasn't stopped him being at Arsenal for 20+ years.

Gazza he left Juve because he felt he wasn't getting the club's full support................

Gazza I'm not following your logic, you seem to be making a lot of assumptions. So what if Conte managed Italy ? And so what if he hasn't spoken of a long term project? AVB spoke of a long term project as did Jose in his second stint. Didn't work out so great for them did it.

I'd have said 3 years is a decent term anywhere these days...

We don’t know exactly what happened at Juve. But, we have been hearing a lot that he fell out with their board over the lack of transfers funds in order to improve the squad so that he could take them further in Europe. Allegri has taken Juve a level up since Conte left.

Wenger never managed France.

My point is that I'm not sure why someone would quit his two great loves in football but decide we were the long term option for him. Even if we were fantastic and won everything, I still think he'd leave to do and achieve other things.

Flash I know. Which might also suggest Conte is not the easiest person to please.

I don't think Conte is first Manager since Jose's first stint that hasn't publicly hinted for more backing. Only Carlo seemed to take the 'dignified' approach.
