So Spurs fans sing that song as a bit of tongue in cheek since Kane was an Arsenal fan as a kid?

Bergkamp was a Spurs fan, didn't stop him being an Arsenal legend, did it?

Kane has been with Spurs since he was 10-11,and has been nurtured and developed by us, Arsenal had him at 8 years old and then released him.

Spurtle, it’s jealousy mate. Rival fans hate the fact that Spurs have the best natural striker in Europe banging the goals week in week out and is a die hard Spurs fan. The fact is that if Spurs continue to improve and start winning stuff, Kane will be here for life. We need to match his ambition though like I keep saying.

True Don

Just like Gerrard stuck around for the long haul.

The only other club in England he could move to that is guaranteed success right now more than Spurs is Man City.

In terms of going abroad, I think he'd be keen to break Shearer's record. It's not like he can break as many records over in La Liga.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think he'd choose a few league/CL winners medals over breaking a goalscoring record in the Prem.
Whether you can compare him to Gerrard, I don't know. Remember that Gerrard won 7 medals, 8 if you include the European Super Cup. If we hadn't have won it in 05, then he may very well have left too.
Ultimately, Spurs have to win things to keep him there. If you do that, I'm sure he'll stay. You haven't so far though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He'd want trophies as well as records I imagine. Most of all I think he'd want to achieve both at Spurs rather than another club.

I can't see Spurs winning the Champions League, but then I don't think many saw us winning it on 2005.

Kane's development would have been stunted at Arsenal. It's just as well he moved to Spurs when he did.

More competition this Season with us beating the the best side in the league yesterday and getting better with VVD to settle in

It was a great result yesterday and Liverpool have got to be one of the best teams going forward in any of Europe's top leagues, but lets be honest City were rubbish and even then managed 3 goals.

Two of your goals were absolute howlers by City and that changed the whole face of the game.

There is no doubt though that Anfield is a formidable place to go to, and I am expecting a very tough game for us when we travel up there soon.

I thought we made City play badly. Howlers? Even Salah's goal was well taken and the rest were world class finishes.

Spurs look well set with Kane fit and the injuries clearing up. His numbers are superb, as is his attitude, and he comes across as incredibly hungry so the records are great but he just loves goals I reckon. I didn't think he played well against Everton..... scored twice

I agree ^ Thought he was off it on Sat and yet scored 2 goals. And weirdly I thought Liverpool's defence looked strong all game yet conceded 3. It's a funny ol game.

I agree with all this. I think the worst mistake for a goal in yesterday's game was Karius not saving at his near post.

Bit of both i think. vs Spurs the City goal keeper was pinging 80 yard passes under pressure to their forwards. vs LFC he shanked it straight to Salah....but its a learning thing with City. Spurs pressed aggressively and were caught out by the keepers passing but now everyone knows he's capable of that when pressing high - LFCs defence were also very aggressive in attacking the longer ball from the keeper. I think you learnt a bit from the Spurs game and we all learnt a bit from the way LFC got in their face yesterday. They were rattled and made more passing errors than i have seen from them all season, even when under no pressure at times.

Liverpool press differently to Spurs, it is more aggressive, frequent and the aim is to recover the ball (Hipsters call it geigenpress). Whereas we tend to press to cut off all the passing options and force them to kick it long and recover the ball that way. Possibly their style is better suited for a City team who isn't still 100% at tiki-taka.

Pep`s ego handed the result to Pool on a plate, everybody knows what Pool`s strengths and weaknesses are and £ity played straight into their hands by refusing to change the way they play.

£ity should have been playing more defensive formation at Klanfield, cutting off the lines and negating the press with longer balls into midfield, and then taking their chances against Pool`s dodgy back line. Pool`s goals came from £ity errors caused by the press and a goalkeeping error, it wasn`t brilliant incisive football that cut £ity open.

I hope Poch was watching and plans to set us up correctly when we visit Klanfield, £ity made Pool look like world beaters, which they are far from.

I actually think Kane is showing the potential to be a better all round player than Shearer.

He has already shown he is capable in the no 10 role and in fact this is where he may evolve to in the later stags of his career. It may be when he goes age 30 + he might become more effective in that role.
