Morning boss, good to see the carrot again!

Best news is that Van der Hoorn is out. Far and away their best defender last time out and along with their keeper kept the scoreline to 0-0.

We should have a pretty strong team tonight with the likes of Norris, Eno, Mir, Cavaleiro, N’Diaye, Hause and Batth coming in. Be good to see Doc get a rest at last but we are still lacking cover in that position

The biggest festival of the year here in Mallorca just now. Sant Antoni kicked off yesterday with bonfires in the streets, singing and dancing. Today there will be a street party during which time they will drag a pine tree trunk through the streets to the village square where it will be set upright ready for all the local numpties to try to climb it to claim the prize (1,000 euro) at the top. To make it more fun they strip all the branches and bark off the tree trunk so that it is like climbing a shiny telegraph pole but about 4 times as high. The street party will go on late into the night with everyone getting thoroughly pizzed

Which part of Mallorca 55?

At a music festival last year a friend of mine decided to try to climb a tree that was basically one big fat trunk with no branches to hold on to. Fair to say he had drunk far too much gin. Hundreds of people cheering him and encouraging him to continue his climb, while we eventually dragged him down to earth in what was probably a life saving decision. I better confirm he isn't in Mallorca right now

Nice area and not too close to Calvia! Just north of Cales de Mallorca is Porto Cristo where you will find the Caves of Drach, one of THE places to visit on the island.
We are right up in the north in Puerto Pollensa, if you happen to make it up this far be sure to let me know and I'll buy you a beer

Having spent the last 20 years of my offshore life climbing things with two ropes and safety harness, this tree climbing malarkey scares the bejabers out of me. How someone is not killed every year is a mystery.

Really hope Nuno starts Rafa Mir tonight. He was brought in to provide cover but also to provide competition for Bonatini. Leo is going through a goal drought at the moment and hasn't scored in the last 8 games now so either he's tired or not trying hard enough. Either way starting Mir makes sense to me.

Reckon Graham will make the bench? As I said in the first match thread I will be really disappointed if we go out to Swansea, if we keep 11 men on the pitch then we should be fine and then in theory an easy draw against Notts County in the next round.

Can't see Nuno playing Graham until he has had a chance to watch him on the training ground. I can't see him as a replacement for Doc so if he is going to get a shot I suppose it will be in place of Costa/Jota.

Just read this:

Jordan Graham is ineligible to feature as he was a Fulham player when the original tie took place.

Ruben Neves came off with cramp towards the end of Saturday's 0-0 draw at Barnsley but has travelled with the squad to Wales.

Leroy Fer is free to play after his red card from the first game was rescinded.

This would be my 18 for tonight:

Norris
Hause
Coady
Batth
Doherty
Douglas
Gibbs-White
N'Diaye
Costa
Mir
Cavalleiro

Subs:
Burgoyne
Miranda
Bennett
Saiss
Goncalves
Enobakhare
Bonatini

(not that I know anything about Goncalves!)

Really could do with some backup for Doc or I can see him having to start every match.

I see that Jon Dadi Bodvarsson got a hattrick yesterday and Ebanks-Blake scored 2 on Monday.

Now we just need our current strikers to start knocking some in.

Anyone else a tinny winny bit worried our squads a tad small?
