Hope you know Wenger will sign an extension when this current one runs out.

If he signs then truly hes the anti-christ

So if we got to the Europa Cup final you wouldn't be interested? Or playing Spurs at Wembley? You shouldn't be a football fan mate

posted on 18/1/18

You better hope France have a mare of a world cup and then the manager gets sacked. That's the only way Wenger will leave.

There is absolutely nothing to look forward to as an Arsenal fan.

Blimey mate..... chin up.

anyone would think we were on the brink of relegation or going out of business. We have a LC semi where we are in the box seat, so could be a Wembley final, and a Europa league campaign still very much alive.

add to that top 4 is not lost (it will be tough) and we still have Spurs at Wembley to play - always a big day out.

if that's how you feel you should just quit watching football generally.

Announce 6th

Worked out well for United

posted on 18/1/18

We were 6th for so fackin long

Unbeaten run (including loads of draws) for about 6 month and still 6th

On a more cheery note, Alan Smith saying on SS that Ozil close to signing new deal.

posted on 18/1/18

Ozil has been "close to signing" for 6 months. I bet he's waiting until the end of the window to see what Arsenal have done on the transfer window.

Can’t say I’d blame him tbh. But I do think that Smith is a fairly credible source, wishful thinking maybe

IMO, Ozil definitely want to stay (or at least hasn't got the offers to leave) but wants to see the clubs ambition.

Must say, us selling Sanchez isn't much ambition, thus the supposed interest in Aubameyang.

I guess your board couldn’t face the embarrassement of letting your best player go for free? It must’ve been a tough one though, better chance of top4 and leave in the summer, or a nice decent lump sum now and try and get a replacement in before the end of Jan.

It's out of Arsenal's hands now, he clearly doesn't want to be with us anymore, just get whatever little we can,so we can move on.

posted on 18/1/18

That’s true, did say he wanted to leave in Jan.

Are you serious OP? His attitude has been terrible by all accounts, his form is nowhere near what it was, he doesn't want to play for us, we aren't getting close to top 4 with him in the squad so we may as well make some money out of him. At least we get a player that, ok isn't a brilliant player, but can do ok for us. Much better than the deal we got for Van Persie. If we just got money for him we know it would be in Big stans back burner, this way we get something palpable for him.

Exactly, some of these fans really only see what they want to see.
We will be fine when he goes, we were ok before he came and we'll be fine after that too

To be fair Sanchez will will be almost 30 when next season starts. Can’t really blame him for taking the £500k + per week on a 5 year deal from United.

Yup, I think there's a 50/50 chance that will happen
Wenger has clung like a limpet to his job despite our long term incremental decline under his stewardship - so there is no guarantee that he will do the decent thing - & is anybody confident that clueless Silent Stan would sack him ?
