Sophies Choice- 8/10 Streep is amazing in one of the most depressing films I've seen. 'The scene' is gut wrenching.

If you are in the mood for that I recommend watching the painted bird- not that I’ve seen it, it had the critic audience walk out on it, it’s that harrowing...

Sergio,a very thought provoking film,even if at times it seems a bit slow. 7/-10

I thought Hardy was brilliant as always especially having to play 2 intergeral characters. I just thought the film was a bit it all over the place at times.

I'm a big Stephen King fan, but (or because) I dont rate Shawshank as highly as most. I think it is a 7 or 8.
