How did MEN come to the conclusion that Lukaku was our second best player tonight? He was poor, rarely held the ball up, did little to help the team and was largely anonymous. The difference between him and Kane tonight was huge and not just in terms of being a threat but the way he bosse four defenders, never gave them a second in the ball and was always these combining with his teammates.

There's City and then a huge Chasm to the chasing pack. So many average teams and we're one of them.
I dont think playing in a 2 was the fundemental reason Pogba didnt perform tonight.The fundemental issue was the fact he just couldn't be arsed.
Hopefully him getting subbed will put him in his place abit.

A bad day at the office is what I put this down to. I wouldn't have gone with the line up we did.
Shaw would have been in for Young and Herrera for Lingard.
I actually have no problem with Joses attacking line up, so farir do's.
Yet another big game passes Pogba by, though.

It wasn't that he was playing in a two, no. Because he wasn't.
It also wasn't because he 'couldn't be arsed'.
It was largely because he was very successfully managed out of the game by the Spurs midfield. He only had any space and time in deep, wide positions for a reason.
