VVD doesn't start as he has hardly played this season and Liverpools return with him in is 2W 2 L I think
Firminio pips Son due to been more clinical in assists and goals
Robertson is only going to get better whereas Davies won't kick on
Henderson isn't even in the same league as Dembele
Gomes beats Sanchez as he has been the one shining light for Liverpool in central defence this season and will be a big star in the future.
Expect to see VVD and Toby replace the two CB by the end of the season though as both are world class on their Day

He played for England in that position and it suited him perfectly!
He has a mature head on him and with Robertson and Clyne as full backs it will give your team so much more steel at the back.

I see a lot more promise in Robertson than Davies, its just my opinion and age has nothing to do with it so odd to bring it up when I haven't mentioned it?!?

Out of interest, what did you think of Marcos Alonso when he played for Sunderland? He was a year older than Robertson at that point.
I seem to remember him putting in very average performances and struggling to make the first team. And yet he’s now playing for a team that challenge (domestically anyway) and has a league winners medal.
Writing off a defender at 23 as not good enough for a title challenge team is idiotic.

Klopp is a better manager, don’t think that’s a massive claim either.

I don't particularly rate Alonso either, free kicks are his only saving grace. When I was writing that I had Alonso in mind, Davies and Robertson are like him in that they'll be ok but never be elite.

Ye maybe. Think we've got better depth and as we all know from painful experience, that is the hard bit to turn around when you are working under any sort of financial constraints.
