Yeah but Spurs will also know about Juve

posted on 15/2/18

In fact, Juve will know nothing about Wembley and Spurs should have many tricks up their sleeve.

I fancy Spurs to go through (as I did before the first leg), but it wouldn't exactly be a shock result if Juve did. Spurs will play the same way in the second leg as the first, it's the way they play to always be on the front foot and that won't change, so it's no use saying 'Juve have to come out' which will suit Spurs, as Spurs won't be sitting back waiting to counter.

Juve are very capable of getting a 1-0, or 2-1 win. Far worse defensive sides than them have managed to frustrate Spurs. They were poor in the first leg, but largely down to Spurs pressing and energy, they will need to find a way to overcome that.

Didn't realise Juve were missing Dybala and Matuidi that is huge.

Match is far from over. Juve are a team who are not used to losing but having said that any team would take a 2-2 away result against Juve. Will be hard for them to do the Italian job on Spurs.

Good points but I still fancy Spurs. Just can't see Spurs not scoring and once they do Juve will need two or they're out.

It was a good result for Spurs, fantastic after being 2-0 down.

Fancy spurs to finish it at Wembley.

I've been waiting for this a long time, since the days of Kenny, Souness, Hanson, Nicol, et al.

Erm, hello. Charlie Adam.

He'll be remembered in exactly the same way

what about khedira?

Dybala, Matuidi, Howdes, Cuadrado & Barzagli are all very good players, and would all start normally wouldn't they?

Hope they are all back for Wembley, would make it really worth watching.

I did say, 'et al' which roughly translates to, in this instances, other Scots.

Howedes doesn't even play, he's made one appearance all season.

Barzagli has been out of form and dropped a lot, he's only played 8 league games.

Cuadrado hasn't made many league appearances but fair enough they've played him in the CL group stages.

Dybala is a big threat though, so Spurs lucked out he was missing.

They were crap but it was a hell of a result for a CL knockout away from home.

That Salah goal, oh my.

Dybala is top class.
What about Matuidi?

One of the commentators said the other night that Dybala was due to miss the second leg as well!
