We need a CB, RB and CM (maybe x 2)

Alderweild would be a good addition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And a LB too....and maybe even a RW of some description. .

But I wouldn't say CB is the biggest priority of the lot.

How does it feel that our reserve keeper is better than your two best keepers combined?

------
Is that saying much? I don't think it is..

As Hengy said, if you want him now, its gonna be stupid money. Spurs are no hurry re this deal. Well covered in that position. Time is on Levy's side, not Toby's. Dangerous position for a potential suitor to be in. Primed to get your pants pulled down.... Though United seem to like that !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
you seem to have a real chip on your shoulder about what we spend

maybe if your chairman put his hand in his pocket a bit more then you'd have more in your trophy cabinet then dust tbf.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Isn't that called buying trophies ??? If that's what flicks your switch.... Good for you
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's money we generate. What's the problem. Do your mates have a pop at you for spending your wages how you see fit?

Not like we've been doped by some wealthy billionaire from Eastern Europe / middle east is it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn't say you did, I have no problem with what United are doing, Or even City for that matter.... Its all within the rules. Its just sad that the sporting element / competitive balance seems to have got lost somewhere when with the exception of Leceister winning the league, the top 7-8 positions are pre-determined by how much money a team spends....zzzzzzz

At some point I hope the bubble bursts coz quite frankly all of European football is pretty F8cked up. Top leagues in England, France, Spain & Germany are dominated runaway leaders who also happen to be the biggest/ richest/ spend the most money. People talk about the Prem being the best league in the world..... GARBAGE. It's just as crap as the rest of them. 80% of the games are either totally lopsided hammerings or just relegation Scraps.... Look at the bottom half right now (there are 8-10 teams who play ever season simply not to go down.... Wow, Thrilling !!!!. Even the bigger clubs are playing to come no worse than 4th !!!!!... Wow, there's something to tell the grand-kids about !!!!!Sadly it will never happen but if a sport ever needed a salary cap/ transfer limit, where more clubs could keep more of their best players, the competition would be better/fairer and the league more entertaining then its football in 2018 !

Width tends to come.from full backs nowadays.

Young and Valencia are great getting forwards and Shaw can learn.

Which sides set up with wingers now ?

Diamond lights doubt that's true or if you believe that yourself..

Spurs recent games haven't been very predictable

He was only on loan for Saints. We got him from Atletico.

Yeah, from saints is probably a poor choice of words.

The fact you think they are "great" at getting forwards does make the head wobble. Neither are great at it at all. Both of them were very ordinary wingers in fact.

We need far better quality than Shaw, Young and Valencia if we're honest. City went and spent big and got real quality there, although they have been unlucky with Mendy getting injured like he did.

You would have thought the penny would have dropped with United fans now that Levy don`t deal with United anymore. City however may have a chance of stealing some of Spurs better players, Darth still likes a few pound notes, and City have plenty of those.

So that's six more players we need then?

Maybe we'd better buy eight or nine this summer to be sure.

Honestly, we have an excellent squad: one that is potentially capable of competing with anyone domestically.

I cannot understand why people talk about trying to upgrade Valencia, for example. How many better right backs are there in the world right now? A small handful? I'd like someone to try to name five.

Both get forward very well and young has a very good delivery. Yes Valencias crossing isn't the best BUT, he does get forward and link with the forwards well.

Name me 5 better LB's and RB's
And Which sides set up with wingers ?

That`s why Man City are more attractive than United, they can offer him more money, and Spurs a bigger fee.

No they can’t.

He has been very average and sometimes even poor this season. Might not regain his form
