Aberdeen will won't take points from you.
First line is more than harsh.... I don't think it is a title race as such yet but I think we need our creative players back e.g. I though Paddy huge miss v Saints as just the tight game he excels in Thursday is the most important game as it is the next game
Not overly concerned to be perfectly honest. Personally can't criticise the manager for making so many changes on Sunday given the level of performance we put in on Thursday.
9 point leads with 11 games to go is still a comfortable lead but of course it requires us not to lose on Sunday or in the next OF game for it to be pretty much sealed.
Roberts, Armstrong and Griffiths to come back into the squad this week onwards, been somewhat of a miss recently it's safe to say.
As much as I want us to get through on Thursday - if we don't, I will be consoled in that it will allow us to refocus on the league. I certainly don't think the title is a foregone conclusion, as Rangers are in a decent vein of form, scoring goals and playing good, attacking football. We still have to visit Pittodrie, Ibrox, Tynecastle and Easter Road, so nothing is a given
I heard that Brendan had a meeting with the players and stated he is not happy with performances in the league and wants to lay down a marker for next season given that the performances have dipped since last season.
£20m transfer on a couple of first team players he has identified. Sounds good but i will believe it when i see it!
Aberdeen, Rangers, Hibs, Hearts all seem to carve each other up and cannot get consistency going which has helped. A couple of wins in our next two league games will all but seal it
I agree about making changes - though I do think 7 was a bit OTT as it clearly affected us after such a good showing on Thursday.
We've put our eggs in the Europa basket which is a good shout as depending on the results on teams from other nations we could end up with a much tougher route to qualifying for the CL next year - we could end up on the unseeded side of the champions route...
£20m transfer on a couple of first team players
Not a chance in hell that'll happen.
It would lay down a marker that he is very serious about the league, could get rid of a few of the players out on loan etc also.
I agree in that we should be playing more of our strongest team and full strength in the next few games as the run in is crucial.
Aye maybe a bit harsh. Was more aimed at the ones who are having a go at fans being not happy about the performances, as if there's an excuse all the time because we're playing in Europe. A lot of fans very dismissive of a challenge also to the point, again that maybe it will take another defeat or draw for people to start taking it more seriously.
I think we need to win on Sunday. Imagine we went to Ibrox even 7 ahead, a win for rangers would make it very much a title race and that's the fine lines here. That's why we need to be beating St Johnstone at home. We've still to go to Pittodrie, Ibrox, Easter Rd, Tynecastle and Fir Park in those 11 games. As well as playing Rangers, Aberdeen again at home plus a Kilmarnock team we've lost and drawn against.
I agree we really need to take the league a lot more seriously.
You cant expect to just hit the gas when you want. Football doesn't work like that. Look at what happened to city last night.

Where do you get this pash from?
agreed
there is a real sense of apathy with some of our supporters, the team, and the manager.
"we'll win the league anyway"
well thats alright then, if we win it by one point and we are schite then thats magic.
what about next year?
we need to be ruthless, rangers were ruthless when they got 9 in a row and we are just strolling about.

As much as the op is pleasing, very pleasing , sadly I don’t think you’ve anything to worry about regards the league.
Ourselves Aberdeen and hibs will in effect cut each other’s throats so the league is safe
We need to lose 3, draw 1 with Aberdeen or Rangers winning every one of their 11 games to lose the league.
A win on Sunday and it's all but sealed.
I know Rangers are scoring a few goals but their defence is shockingly poor, we will have a field day against it,
Think you need to calm down a fair bit. Team and manager deserve criticism for Sunday, but there’s a bigger picture in terms of Europe as well. I get that the league is a priority, but the club also has other ambitions and they’re trying to maintain the balance on them.
Some folk are spoiled though, and are over the top in their views. Everything is either sugar or scheidt, with no middle ground.

its not the games we lose i'm worried about, its dropping 2 points a time wiht a draw.
said it yesteday, we've dropped points in a third of our league games, thats not good enough, not even close.
same amount as deila dropped points in his first season btw and he had a schite start.
we look lazy, uninterested, and its frustrating.
see tbh its a nonsense
"we cant compete with PSG and Bayern"
but st johnstone should compete with us?
The way we are playing we dont look like winning the league. I know we have alot of injuries and miss griff but you still need to do it on the park.
Last year we had the bit between our teeth this year nothing.
