But that's usual isn't it? Thought it always got reset at the start of the season - otherwise people going 20 years will have like 10,000 loyalty points.

Genuinely don't know if that's right though.

It changed a few years ago that you only keep points for the last 3 seasons I think now
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Previous 4 seasons points

Cool Seems a good system. Don't get why Chronic has lost his though.

I also took the chance to purchase a ticket for the Man City match £18 (plenty of tickets left for that one, amusingly)

think these only come out today for members at least

-------

ive never had my points reset before this season.

a couple of years ago they did a supporter wide adjustment and everyone lost some... but never had it reset to nil

the joke is that I was in a better position to buy tickets for cup games / finals / big away games, when I was a member with 300 points, than now, as a season ticket holder with minimal points....

only spurs can make it easier to get tickets when you are not a season ticket holder. so spursy.

Hi Hounslow, my brother-in-law has just phoned me about five minutes ago, and said how about meeting up for the Huddersfield game. The Sandy Brown Firm will be at meet ups all over the Wembley Area that day.

Sandy, I will do an article nearer the time to arrange it. The easiest thing to do would be for whoever arranges it to post their mobile number on here, but whoever arranges it would just get endless prank calls.

Chronic et al - I don’t think you understand how loyalty points work.

Platinum beats Gold which in turn beats silver, then Bronze and lastly Lilywhite. The reason your Bronze loyalty points have been reset is because they are effectively meaningless ... if we get to a cup final your season ticket would trump a Bronze membership with a million points.

Secondly the LPs are averaged over three seasons, so the same 4,000 who have STs but don't go to many away games don't still automatically get Arsenal away for example. You get a bump of circa 25 points per season for renewing whatever membership you had last year. But because you've just changed membership levels you'll be at 0 plus 25 at the start of the season.

Hope that helps. Basically if we get to the Cup Final then everyone with a season ticket will go into a pot and loyalty points are then applied. As to whether you'll get one, depends on allocation (usually the c***** only give us 30,000) Vs how many season tickets Spurs sold this year (no idea, but I think we used to have around 20,000 at WHL). If X > Y then it will go to Bronze (vv unlikely).

However... Last year I was Bronze with around 250 points and have always got a ticket for the semi finals and finals. So who knows.

when I was a member I had similar points so always got tickets for semis and finals too... this year I have become a season ticket holder and my points were reset to 37 I think it was. so that average 3 season stuff seems to be a load of bollox. now because I didn't go to afc wimbleson west ham league cup etc, and pick up those extra loyalty points, I find myself with the same ST loyalty points despite being inside top 10k on ST waiting list, as those who were 40 50 and 60k on waiting list, as we all had points reset.

therefore chances of me getting a semi or final ticket are now worse, as the no. of st holders we have now far outweighs the allocation. we now have over 40k, last season at the lane we had 23k.

so I have moved from member to ST holder, and as such its now harder for me to get tickets.

basically spurs have facked me up the arris.
