Wasn't Brendan described as the best Liverpool manager by GB at one time?

Arsenal. He could do great things there and build a team. Chelsea would be the usual, come in, first sign of trouble you're gone.

Hopefully he doesn't go to them however.

Think he’s more suited to Arsenal......

Got to be Chelsea.
You know they are fully capable of being utter 5hit one year, and winning the title the next.
Arsenal are soft, have no real leaders, and are a much harder proposition to turn around.

BR is a good manager but, what we watched at Anfield was a manager who when it started to go wrong had no answer.

Maybe hes learned, also; in europe he was absolutely sht...

Arsenal should be able to draw a higher calibre of manger than Rodgers. The lure of CL football and winning the title at a canter is probably attractive to Rodgers at celtic. The PL is so strong Arsenal could easily burn through managers like the man utd of late.

Economically celtic should be able to stay a step ahead of rangers for the next 5 years at least. Boredom might be the only downside.

his signings for celtic have been hit and miss i doubt any big english teams will be considering him at all

last season was mostly delila's celtic team and they have got worse considerably this year with more and more big money duds rom brendan

he's qualified for the cl but been celtics worst ever manager at that level aswell

As i said, he is poor in Europe...realy needs to sort that out or he wont progress at all

“Brendan Rodgers” sorry but he manages and has been successful in such a one sided league (ok two at best) and now he’s good enough to come back to the Premier League.

I'd spare that because when you said those things, Liverpool were in a title challenge. This was before that infamous game at Crystal Palace.

I guess I may have said few things that I regret too

Brenda though I always said he was punching above his weight and that year when he was flying high, Stevie G and Suarez were the actual reasons why Liverpool were red hot.

The way he used to stand by the side during a game, at Anfield like he was the "business"

Anyway, Chelsea nor Arsena would not recruit a British manager.

No chance of that.

They'll get a Johnny Foreigner

To be fair it's getting more and more difficult to attract good players to Scotland. Celtic don't realistically have a rival for the title.

You can't really expect Celtic to compete in the groups they get drawn in but instead of parking up and hoping to nick one he tries to go for it. I'd much prefer that if I were a Celtic fan. If you're gonna go out you may as well go for it and see what happens.

His record in the PL is very respectable with both Swansea and Liverpool. The final year at Liverpool it fell apart for him but he had Balotelli forced on him and when it didn't work out, he was left with Sterling being our main striker, with Sturridge being injured the whole season. Gerrard ended up the top scorer in the league with nine. It was a team struggling for goals and having sold our best goalscorer, our second best being injured, having Balotelli forced on him and Sterling our main striker you can see why.

Personally I rate him highly, he plays football the right way but it takes having the right players to do that, inevitably when he doesn't, it falls apart. He tried many different things to make it work in the end but it just wasn't happening with the players we had.

But you forgetting one major flaw with br. The DEFENCE and inability to win away from home against top 4 sides.
